We got great value for our money at Seal Cottage. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The location was ideal, with a lovely park nearby and the train station within a short walk. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast option better was a wider variety of choices.

Seal Cottage in Hexham is a beautiful and well-appointed cottage that exceeded our expectations. The decor was tasteful and the furnishings were comfortable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a good bathroom. The care package upon arrival, which included fresh flowers and milk, was a lovely touch. The location of the cottage was ideal, situated on a quiet alleyway between a park and a quiet road. It was a short and pleasant walk to the town center and the train station. The town itself was charming and historic, with plenty of shops and cafes to explore. The cottage also served as a convenient base for exploring the wider region. Despite a few minor drawbacks like limited parking and no garden, overall, our stay at Seal Cottage was excellent and we would highly recommend it.

The cottage was cozy and felt like a home away from home. The decoration was stylish and beautiful. It was located in a central area, making it easy to explore the city. The facilities provided were very good, and the kitchen was stocked with essentials like eggs, bread, and wine. The cottage also had a gas fireplace, which was perfect for cozying up on rainy nights. The welcome basket and flowers were a lovely touch, adding to the overall charm of the place.
Finding grocery stores and their operating hours was a bit challenging, especially for guests with dietary restrictions. The distance from the parking area to the cottage was quite a hike, which could be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage.
